1. About these terms

These terms apply when you book parking through parkpal.space ("ParkpalGB", "we", "us"). By booking, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book.

2. What you are booking

Your booking covers your vehicle on the street you choose, for the day or days you book. It does not reserve a specific bay. We aim to make sure there is always a space available. In the unlikely event there is not, we will direct you to a nearby space.

3. How to book

You book by sending us a message by WhatsApp or text from the website. Your booking is only confirmed when we confirm it to you and payment has been received.

After you have paid, we will send you the exact address and postcode of the space, along with photos of it. If you would like more details of the space before you book, ask us and we will send them.

4. Your vehicle registration

You must give us the correct registration for the vehicle that will be parked. If it is wrong, your vehicle may not be covered, and any penalty charge notice that results is your responsibility.

5. Prices, payment and promo code

Prices are shown in pounds sterling per day. You pay by bank transfer or by a payment link sent over WhatsApp, using the details we give you.

The promo code PARKPAL10 gives 10% off a first booking. It can be used once per customer.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your booking starts, you will get a full refund. After that, a refund is at our discretion. To cancel or change a booking, message us on WhatsApp or by email at parkpal.bookings@gmail.com.

This does not affect any legal rights you have as a consumer.

7. Your responsibilities

While parked under your booking you must:

• follow the law and any road signs and restrictions that your booking does not cover;
• make sure your vehicle is taxed, insured and roadworthy;
• remove your vehicle when your booking ends.

8. Our liability

We are not responsible for loss of or damage to your vehicle or anything in it, except where we are at fault, for example through our negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Where the law allows, our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
